Elena, you're now the official comeback queen of Coubertin after those two difficult three-set matches. Do you feel extra motivation when your opponent is leading?
Yes, another three-set match with me losing the first. It hard because then, you have to find the way back to victory and fight. But then of course, in the end, it's really exciting to win. Melanie is a real fighter and I very much wanted to win the match after her win against me at the U.S. Open. Also, I have to say that physically, it was one of the most difficult matches I had to play so far this year.

You'll play the Open GDF SUEZ final against Lucie Safarova. Do you have a specific gameplan in mind or do you want to play your own game, whoever the opponenent is?
It's definitely going to be a different match. Lucie is left-handed, her game is very aggressive and she had a strong serve. It won't be the same as today but I'm really looking forward to the final and I hope I can win it this time.
